HISTORY

This company started in 1997 born out of Darin White’s third generation family display manufacturing (and sailboats for a brief period ) business which began in 1956 on a kitchen table. Darin’s grandfather designed and engineered a majority of the equipment used with a goal of producing everything in house. We have taken this idea to an extreme, setting up relationships with companies who excel at their niche, and can provide their specific product with quality.

Display Direct from the beginning has been a forward looking company. We have been an online business since conception in 1997 and are always looking for new ways to help our customers through technology. In 2007 we redesigned our overhauled our database, systems, and website to provide better service. At the same time, we want our customers to be able to pick up the phone and talk to a live person, who will handle their project like it is our only project, in a helpful and courteous manner. If we do not feel that we are the best suited to helping with your project, we will let you know, so that you can get the project done correctly. It is very likely that you will speak to our president Darin, as he still handles the majority of our projects.
